We sell some of the finest Irish horses which are bred for their temperament, ability and versatility. Our on-site facilities are of high quality, we have an enclosed sand area, show jumps including fillers, a x/c course with ditches, banks and steps. Not forgetting our excellent hacking facilities which give our clients a chance to see how the horse behaves in the presence of traffic. Our horses are used to the noise of tanks and military firing as our farm is situated close to an M.O.D Military Range.
We advise that you:
- Try the horse that you are interested in. There is no obligation to purchase but the prospective purchaser should try the horse as often as possible before purchasing so you know that horse is the right one for you.
- Vetting - We recommend that all horses should be vetted prior to purchase. Our horses are open to five stage vettings and drug testing.Your own Vet or one selected by you from a list of local veterinary surgeons are always welcome. The Vet is independent and the vetting will be for you the purchaser not us the seller.
- Reservations or deposits - If you are particularly interested in a horse and wish to reserve it then a £500 deposit is required. This deposit is only valid for one week and is refundable if the horse fails its veterinary inspection.
- Contract - Every horse is sold subject to contract. A copy which is available pre- purchase. The horse is deemed to be sold upon completion of the contract, post vetting. . Once the horse has successfully ‘passed the vet’ we have no legal obligation to take it back. Should it be deemed that the horse/pony is unsuitable by it’s new owner and if returned in the same condition as it was sold, We will endeavor find a suitable replacement horse of equal value. of the original purchased horse.
